Vintage Mermaid/Pescado Mask

Here is a fine, collectible, vintage mermaid / pescado mask from Iguala, Guerrero. Likely decorative but possibly attributed to a pescado dance.  This mask is from the collection of Donald Fritz and was published in the museum catalog Changing Faces: Mexican Masks in Transition, 1985 (fig 132). 

Mask is in very good condition 

Wood, paint, lacquer, glass 

Measures: 

Length 23.6 x 8 inches wide
