Rare Vintage Catrin/Carnaval Dance Mask
Here is a wonderful vintage Catrin / Paraguero mask from Tlaxcala with glass eyes. These masks were used by dancers during Carnaval. This mask is from the collection of Donald Fritz and was published in the museum catalog Changing Faces: Mexican Masks in Transition, 1985 (fig 29).
Mask is in great condition with minimal paint loss.
