Ron Raymer
Ron Raymer resides in Raytown, Missouri. Ron spent 36 years with Hallmark Cards of Kansas City. There he learned the engraving trade and worked in their research and development department. At Hallmark, he helped to develop the creative staff of approximately 600 artists through expanding the skills of the individual artists. Ron has also written hundreds of copyrighted gospel and bluegrass songs. Ron painted a cow for the Americow Heroes Exhibition which paid special tribute to the people of New York City after September 11th. He also designed two cows for a Cow Parade in Kansas City in 2001 - one celebrating baseball and one celebrating jazz music. Ron has also participated in both individual and group shows. His work is available in galleries and by commission. Ron Raymer is a multi-faceted artist. He works in two dimensions through the mediums of oil and acrylic painting, but he also works in three dimensions through wood carving and wood turning. In addition, he is an engraver and creates limited edition embossing's as well as one-of-a-kind banjos.
