Enrique E. Guerra was born and lives near McAllen, Texas, although he spent his youth on his father's ranch in northern Mexico.  He studied art at Paier College of Art in New Haven, CT, a classical studio art school.  He also studied under Robert Lougheed and under Tom Lovell in Santa Fe, NM.  Enrique has completed commissioned mural for the Mission Trail in San Antonio, and the International Trade and Technology Building at the University of Texas Pan American.  His work in exhibited at Nedra Matteucci Fine Art in Santa Fe, NM and at Nuevo Santander Gallery in McAllen, TX.  The artist prefers to paint the daily pastoral scenes found along the Texas and Mexico border en plein aire (on location).  His impressionistic oil paintings are drenched with sunlight and color.  All of Enrique's bronzes are cast using the lost wax method.
