Artist's Biography:

Jessica Monroe received a BA in Studio Art from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. After graduating, she spent seven years working as a high school art teacher. During summers she continued her studies in art at NYU and SAIC. Monroe now works exclusively in the studio. She uses her paintings to explore interests in ecological principles at work in nature. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. Monroe lives and works in Edinburg, TX.
